Who can vote for GUSD Board of Trustees?

To vote for Goleta School Board Members, you must live in the Goleta Union School District (GUSD).

The GUSD serves the Goleta valley, a community of 90,000 people that includes the City of Goleta and a large unincorporated area. The valley lies between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, and is adjacent to the City of Santa Barbara, California.

Important information regarding November Election

The Santa Barbara County Registrar of Voters is committed to ensuring that voters can exercise their right to vote in a safe, secure and accessible manner during the 2020 Presidential General Election. 

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, every registered voter in California will receive a ballot in the mail for the upcoming election.

Mail-in ballots give voters the option to vote from the safety of their homes.

Ballots will be mailed to all registered voters starting the week of October 5. If you haven't received yours by October 19, call the Registrar of Voters at (800) 722-8683 or (800) SBC-VOTE.
